Introducing Windows 11
Microsoft released Windows 11 in October 2021. This new version of Windows has high requirements and may not be compatible with your system.
We have purchased some new systems that we are slowly starting to deploy to administrative staff in Social Science. Eventually, we will be updating systems that are compatible with Windows 11. If you are purchasing new computers with your own funding, we encourage you to move to Windows 11. Most common software works with Windows 11. You can check with your software vendor to ensure that any unique software will work.
Windows 10 will be supported until October 14, 2025.
