Stata 17 Available

Stata 17 is now available for use on the Social Science Network. The Stata SE is available for research use. We have a limited number of licenses for this version. It is needed for large datasets. The Stata BE is intended for undergraduate students and classroom use. It allows datasets with up to 2047 variables and 2 billion observations.
Note that the student version of Stata called Stata IC or Intercooled has been replaced with Stata BE, or Basic Edition.
To run Stata SE use File Explorer to navigate to:
S:\Statistics and Analysis > StataSE 17 (64-bit)
To run Stata BE use File Explorer to navigate to:
S:\Statistics and Analysis > StataBE 17 Student (64-bit)
Note: If you are teaching Stata to a main campus Social Science class, you must complete a Course Instructional Access application as this software will only work for Social Science accounts.
