Power Outage Saturday, March 20 7 AM - 2 PM

There will be a building wide scheduled power outage on Saturday, March 20th from 7:00 AM until 2:00 PM in the Social Science Centre and the University Community Centre. This is an essential power interruption to complete work related to the main distribution substation that powers the UCC and the SSC. Emergency generator power will be available.
If you are planning on coming to the SSC or if you’re working remotely on your office computer in the SSC, we recommend that you save your work and close your programs at the end of day on Friday, March 19th, prior to the power disruption. You should NOT shut down your computer. When the power is restored, your computer should power back on automatically.
We will have staff on-site first thing Monday morning to turn on any computers that do not restart on their own. If you are not able to access your system remotely on Monday, March 22nd, you can contact SSTS during office hours.
