SSC Network Update

pcANYWHERE Node Service for Windows 95

SSCL is pleased to announce that Windows 95 users can now access all software on the SSC Network from off-campus by using the SSC Network pcANYWHERE Node Service.  Note that the old pcANYWHERE dial-in service, providing access to the Pathworks Network, will be discontinued effective May 1, 1998. 

This remote access service requires pcANYWHERE for Windows version 2.0 or greater, an Internet connection, and an account on the SSC Windows 95 Network.  For more information see the Help Note pcANYWHERE Node Service, available in SSC 1004, and at www.ssc.uwo.ca/ssnds/helpnotes.  Also see the revised and renamed Help Note Remote Access Services (replacing Dial-in Access Services), also available at these locations.
