Web Development Support

SSCL offers web development support for faculty, staff and graduate students needing a web presence for research, teaching and administrative activities. Besides assisting with design and creation of web pages, we can help you create more complex web-based applications such as online surveys, forms and information systems. For example, we have assisted graduate students in compiling their research data by creating interactive questionnaires that automatically record results from web-based survey forms. Responses to the online questionnaires are automatically screened for validity and recorded directly to our servers for subsequent processing by analysis software. We have also created departmental intranets which provide secure access to departmental resources, such as online calendars, databases and information.
