SSC Network UpdateMS Office Upgrade for Home UseSue Shiel As part of the Microsoft Campus Agreement, software is loaned to Social Science staff and faculty for home use on a single computer used for work-related activities. Two new versions of the Microsoft Office suite can now be borrowed from the Data Resources Library. Office XP is the latest iteration of Microsoft’s Office suite for the Windows operating system. The XP Professional package contains the 2002 versions of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access and FrontPage. Office v.X for Macintosh is the suite of Microsoft programs (Word, Entourage, Excel, and PowerPoint) designed specifically for Mac OS X. The software listed below can be borrowed during regular office hours from the Data Resources Library (SSC 1004). Remember to bring your staff/faculty card when borrowing software.
