Student Group Project Room

Thanks to the 2014/15 Social Science Student Donation Fund, Social Science Technology Services was able to purchase and install a Crestron Wireless Media Presentation Device in SSC 1014B, one of our Student Group Project Rooms.  This Crestron device allows students in SSC 1014B to connect their PC or MAC laptops, Apple or Android devices wirelessly to the video projector. Using the “Quad” view, up to four screens can be displayed simultaneously, enabling the group to compare and share their presentation work or to collaborate on a project.  Simple instructions are provided in that room for students to connect their devices to the video projector. 

Also, thanks to Social Science Student Council for approving the purchase of a second Crestron Wireless Media Presentation for SSC 1014 (our other Student Group Project Meeting Room), from the 2015/16 Student Donation Funds.  We hope to have SSC 1014 set up with the same new functionality as 1014B soon.
