Upgrade to IBM SPSS 29

The most recent version of IBM SPSS Statistics on the network is version 29. The network license for version 28 will expire on May 31, 2023. If you are getting license expiry notifications, you might be using version 28. Please see the installation instructions below for IBM SPSS Statistics version 29.
If you have your own site license copy of SPSS from Western, it is also expiring. You can purchase a copy of the site license from the Campus Computer Store.
IBM SPSS Statistics version 28 is available for installation from the SSC Network via Add/Remove Programs as follows:
Windows 10 & 11
- Open File Explorer
- Double-click S:\Add-Remove Programs
- Choose Install a program from the network
Select the following and follow the on-screen instructions:
- IBM SPSS Statistics 29
Uninstall All Older Versions
Due to the recent Log4j vulnerability, we highly recommend that ALL older versions of IBM SPSS Statistics be uninstalled.
