SAS License Renewal 2016

The annual license for SAS is due for renewal. (The appearance of this notice in the SSC Network Notices is a reminder to renew the license.)

How do I renew the license?

You can renew the license as follows:

For SAS 9.3

  • start > Programs > SAS > Utilities
  • Right-click Renew SAS Software and select Run As Administrator
  • The license information is available on the SSC Network. Click the Browse button and navigate to
    • L:\Sample Library\SAS\Win_32 Renewal - SAS 9.3 for 32-bit versions
    • or
    • L:\Sample Library\SAS\Win_64 Renewal - SAS 9.3 for 64-bit versions
  • Choose the .txt file and click the Open button.

For SAS 9.4

  • start > Programs > SAS > Utilities
  • Right-click Renew SAS Software and select Run As Administrator
  • The license information is available on the SSC Network. Click the Browse button and navigate to
    • L:\Sample Library\SAS\Win_32 Renewal - SAS 9.4 for 32-bit versions
    • or
    • L:\Sample Library\SAS\Win_64 Renewal - SAS 9.4 for 64-bit versions
  • Choose the .txt file and click the Open button
  • There are more detailed instructions in PDF files in the above folders

SAS is available remotely for students on MyVlab.uwo.ca. Current Western faculty, staff, graduate students and undergraduates can install SAS software on Western-owned systems. See the SAS Site License web page for details.
